William E. "Bill" Yates, age 68 of Biloxi, MS, was born in Florida on July 28,1944, to the late Ervin and Maisie Yates and he passed away in Mississippi on January 3, 2013. He was a long-time resident of Lee County, Alabama, and retired from Bell South. Mr. Yates was an avid golfer and an Auburn fan. He was a member of the Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi, MS. Mr.Yates is survived by his sons, Robert Yates, Alan Yates, Daniel Yates, David (Tiffany) Yates, and Paul (Brandy) Yates; grandchildren, Adam, Abby, Carly, Conner, Charlee Rose, Sydney, Chase, Michaela, Triston, and Solan; great grandson, Hadyen; mother of his children, Rosie Yates; Brothers, Mike (Linda) Yates, Danny (Carol) Yates, Rusty Yates, and Clarence Yates.
