Franklin Ronald "Skillet" Holman

Franklin Ronald Holman, 80, passed away at home on Monday, October 28, 2024. He retired from Uniroyal (Opelika) after 30 years of working.

He was preceded in death by his parents, F. C. Holman and Helen B Grantham; granddaughter, Talor Holman.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 62 years, Linda Holman; daughter, Melinda (Michael) Gray; son, Allen (Terri) Holman; brother, Preston T. (Diane) Holman; grandchildren, Jessica Creamer, Brandon Spraggins, Laura Spraggins, Kimberly Spraggins and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31 from 12:30PM-1:45PM in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home with a service at 2:00PM in the Chapel, Brother Eugene Dixon will be officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery.

Frederick-Dean Funeral Home is assisting the family with all arrangements.
