Gabbie Smith of Opelika, Alabama was born on May 2, 1988 and passed away from a brief battle with cancer at EAMC surrounded by her family on September 24, 2017. She was 29 years old. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kaye Smith. She is survived by her father, Thomas Smith; sister, Alexandria Hall (Michael); nephew, Barrett Hall; fianc, Scott Stanfield; step-son, Jason Stanfield. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Westshore Landing's Clubhouse from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
