Genina C Harris

Gina passed away on February 9, 2025 after a long battle with declining health. She courageously and bravely battled breast cancer three times.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years Dion Harris; sons, Jeremy Matthews and Justin Harris (Carrie) and grandchildren, RaSean, Adriauna and Ada.

She is also survived by her mother, Gloria White; sisters, Samantha Elliott (Mike) and Melinda Utley (James) ; nephews, Jamie and Trey; nieces, Amanda and Amber.

Gina loved to travel, go camping in her RV and tend to her flowers and garden. She was an avid reader and loved listening to music. She was also a gifted knitter, loved crafts of all kinds and playing with her beloved cat, Tiger.

Gina was a beautiful, generous, kind and humble person. She will greatly be missed by her family.

Visitation will be Friday, February 14, 2025 from 10:00AM-11:00AM in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 11:30AM at Garden Hills Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank all those who have reached out and sent prayers and condolences to the family. The family will accept flowers.
