George E. Turner, Jr., of Auburn, was born in Eastaboga, Alabama on October 16, 1953 and died at his home on September 23, 2012. He was 58 years old. He was a member and served as Deacon of Purpose Baptist Church. Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Turner Sears. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Barbara E. Turner; son, Mike Turner; grandchild, Jenna Ammons; as well as numerous other family members. Mr. Turner worked at Briggs and Stratton for 14 years. He was a man of strong faith, who loved the Lord. He was a great father and husband.
