In Loving Memory of Georgia Carol Mulligan

October 15, 1945 – September 5, 2026

Georgia Carol Mulligan, affectionately known as Carol, was born on October 15, 1945. She passed away peacefully at her home in Shorter, Alabama, on September 5, 2026, at the age of 80.

Carol lived a life filled with joy, love, and happiness. She had a beautiful gift for making people laugh and bringing smiles to those around her. Her warm personality, caring heart, and joyful spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered as a wonderful, loving, and caring woman who brought light and laughter wherever she went.

Carol was one of seven siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Warren Foster, and her sister, Teresa Green. She is also lovingly remembered by her son, James Mulligan; grandson, Jarred Mulligan; granddaughter, Kaley Mulligan; and a host of loving family members and friends.

A very special thank you is extended to her niece, Carol Linton, who lovingly and faithfully helped care for her aunt. Her kindness, love, and dedication were a blessing to Carol and the entire family.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Dan Foster and Thertha Ingram; her husband, William Mulligan; and her youngest son, William “Bubba” Mulligan.

Though she is no longer with us, Carol’s laughter, love, and joyful spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed.
