Grady Lester Heptinstall of Phenix City, Alabama was born on October 30, 1948 to the late Mabell and Monroe Heptinstall. He passed away on October 22, 2021 at Columbus Hospice in Columbus, Georgia. He was 72 years old. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Norris; brothers Dale, Bill, and Mack Heptinstall; sisters Velma Richardson, Gean Seigler, Bertha Moore and step-son Kenneth Norris. He is survived by his sister Lessie Mackey, brothers; Jack Heptinstall (Darlene) and David Heptinstall. He is also survived by his step-children; Paul Norris, Debra Norris, and Jeff Norris. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, step-children, and other family members. There will be a visitation held at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home in the Parlor on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. with the service being held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Frederick-Dean. Burial will follow in Garden Hills Cemetery. Brother Eric Hilyer will officiate.
