Gwendolyn C. Patten, 91, was born on August 14, 1922 in Kentucky to the late Lyman Bruce Caldwell, Sr. and Mary Ella Caldwell; she passed away on March 19, 2014 at Arbor Springs. Mrs. Patten was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Blythe, Sr., son James K. Blythe, Jr., and her brother, Lyman B. Caldwell, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Jack Patten, son Bill Blythe (Jean), daughter, Cindy Coan (Ron); grandchildren, Jim Blythe (Sandy), Dana Heath , Jenny Blythe, Kristie Heath, Allen Blythe (Priscilla), Joe Blythe, and Ashley Thornton (David); great-grandchildren, Jacob Blythe, AlliAnne Blythe, Grant Blythe, and Taylor Thornton; numerous adopted grandchildren that loved her dearly; brothers, Lonnie Caldwell (Helen) and Ennis Caldwell (Jane); nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
