Helen B. Robinson of Auburn, Alabama was born to the late Rufus L. and Bernice Whitmen Blankenship on June 1, 1932 and passed away at Hospice House of LaGrange in LaGrange, Georgia on August 26, 2022. She was 90 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Dr. Cecil Eugene Robinson; brothers, Bernard Blankenship and Freddie Blankenship; her sister, Dorothy Blankenship; son-in-law, John Fortenberry. She is survived by her children, Cecil Eugene Robinson, Jr. (Jane), Pamela Robinson Fortenberry, and Philip Wylie Robinson (Carolyn); grandchildren, Heather Robinson, Cecil Eugene Robinson, III, and Kimberly Robinson Babin (Jeremy); great grandchildren, Brianna Elizabeth Spitz, Randall Mark Spitz, III, James Christopher Babin, Eliza Grace Babin, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, August 29, 2022 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon CST until 1:45 p.m. CST. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Monday, August 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. CST. with Reverend Thad Endicott officiating. Interment will follow at Auburn Memorial Park.
