Helen Jones Pattillo Stover, 68, was born November 4, 1945 in East Tallassee, Alabama to the late Isam and Naomi Jones. She passed away July 3, 2014 at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Opelika, AL and retired from the banking industry. She served for many years in the Organization of Business and Professional Women and the Pilot Club of Lee County. Mrs. Stover was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Stover; brothers, James Robert Jones, Willie Marvin Jones, and George Jones; and her sisters, Sally Jones Meadows and Flossie Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Pattillo Traylor (Phillip) of Opelika; her son, Rusty Pattillo (Pam) of Williamson, GA; her brother, Charles Jones (Bonnie) of Cookville, TN; her sister-in-law, Joyce Jones of Tallassee, AL; her grandchildren, Brenton Traylor (Kaitlyn) and Noah Traylor; her step-grandchildren, Kevin Hobbs and Michelle Hobbs; and a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and other family members and friends. Visitation will be held in the parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 12:30 PM until 2:15 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 2:30 PM in the chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home with Rev. Mike King officiating. Interment will follow at Elam Baptist Church Cemetery, Tallassee, AL.
