Hubert C. Hicks, 86, was born in Dothan, Alabama on December 20, 1928 and passed away on March 16, 2015 in Auburn, Alabama. Mr. Hicks was the son of the late, Remous and Mary Hicks. He first worked at the mill in Columbus, Georgia, Jordans TV and appliance in Columbus, Georgia, and at Capps Feed and Seed in Phenix City, Alabama. He loved gardening and farming in his overalls and his hat. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Hicks; brothers, Floyd, Dewey, and Ernest Hicks; sisters, Dorothy Owens and Clara Boles; and step-son, Rickie McNair. Mr. Hicks is survived by his sons, Richard and Billy Hicks; daughters, Brenda Wright and Rita Hicks; step-daughter, Patty McNair; step-son, Kenny McNair; grandchildren, Tammy, Kathy, Joey, Ken, and Rickie; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Zack, Summer, Marissa, Becca, Kayleigh, Arlee, and Hope; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and other family members.
