Jackolane "Jackie" Standridge Whitlock entered the presence of her Lord on Tuesday, January 31st. She was 80 years old. Jackie was born in Fairfield, Alabama, to John William Standridge and Grace Corley Standridge and moved to Opelika as a child. She was a member of the Beta Club and a 1949 graduate of Opelika High School. Jackie was a member of Opelika Church of God. Upon her retirement from the Lee County Sheriff's Office, she enjoyed time with her family and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Clarence A. "Jack" Whitlock, one sister, Mary Standridge Broadwater, her two daughters, Vicky Whitlock O'Reilly, Kathy Whitlock Pede (Jeffrey), Three grandchildren, Rev. Matthew O'Reilly (Naomi), Timothy O'Reilly (Anna), Shawna Pede Chaplin (Aaron) and four great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice Advantage/EAMC 665 Opelika Rd., Suite 200, Auburn, AL 36830.
