James Albert Cooper 1949-2020 James Albert Cooper of Lafayette, Alabama was born November 5, 1949 and passed away at his home on December 25, 2020. He was 71 years old. Mr. Cooper was very proud of his time in the United States Army. He served in Vietnam and was very specialized in the training of service dogs. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 11:00 EST. at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
