James Wayne Peppers of Waverly, Alabama was born in Florida on May 2, 1946 and passed away at Bethany House on Thursday, June 3, 2021. He was 75 years old.
James was a lifelong resident of Waverly and loved fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. (Paula) Peppers and Marie (Wilton) Bell; sister, Patricia Hull; brother, Kenneth Bell; his beloved dog Dixie and two special friends, Richard Miller and Clinton Cole.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy R. Peppers; daughters, Samantha (Harvey) White and Christie Peppers; granddaughter, Jessica (Mike) Jones; grandsons, Wes (Jennifer) Treece, CJ (Monica) Parker; great granddaughters, Lilly Rae Treece and Kaylin Parker; great grandson, Brayden Wilson, and special friend, Ron Holmes; sister, Linda Torbert; brother, William Bell, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Celebration of life will be held in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Tommy West officiating.
