James A. "J.A." Stokley, 80, was born November 23, 1933 in Augusta, Georgia. He passed away September 4, 2014 at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. Mr. Stokley was the son of the late Peggy and E.E. Stokley, Sr. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He lived a life of service to his family, his church, his country, his community, and his industry. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Frankie Wagner of Tucson, Arizona, and Peggy Craft of Opelika, Alabama. Mr. Stokley is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lois Blackburn Stokley; son, Jay B. Stokley (Beverly); daughter, Cindy Hendrix (Scott); granddaughter, Maci Hendrix; grandson, Hunter Hendrix; brother, E.E. "Zeke" Stokley, Jr. (Bernice); and numerous nieces and nephews.
