Jane Landes Moran 1952-2021 Jane Landes Moran, 68, of Auburn, AL. passed away at Arbor Springs Health and Rehab Center on Friday, January 22, 2021. Jane was born in Phoenixville, PA. to the late C. Edgar Landes and Evelyn (Smith) Landes. She graduated from Spring-Ford High School and earned a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg (PA) University graduating Magna Cum Laude. After living in Edwardsville, PA. and State College, PA. Jane moved with her husband to Auburn in 1983. Following some time as a stay-at-home mom, she taught English at Hallie Turner Private School in Opelika for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Arthur Landes and Charles Landes, both of Collegeville, PA. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Michael Moran; sons, Kevin Moran (Alecia) of Opelika, Mark Moran of Dadeville and her beloved granddaughter, Marley Moran of Opelika. Graveside service is scheduled at the columbarium at Town Creek Cemetery in Auburn Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Lee County Humane Society, 1140 Ware Drive, Auburn, AL. 36332.
