Janice M. Tally, age 69 of Opelika, was born in Tallassee, Alabama on June 29, 1944 and passed away at EAMC on May 28, 2014. She was of the Methodist faith. She was born to the late James and Bernice Cannon. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Sherward C. Tally; son, Scott Tally; mother of her grandchildren, Tammy Sumner; two grandsons, Brandon and Justin Tally; granddaughter, Brianna Tally and her mother, Stacey; great granddaughter, Maddie Tally; special sister, Margie Kirk; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other family members. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Garden Hills Cemetery, with Reverend Tim Moore officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home.
