Jeanette Maness Parker 1946 - 2021 Jeanette Maness Parker of Dadeville, Alabama was born in Alexander City, Alabama on February 4, 1946 and passed away at East Alabama Medical Center on July 20, 2021. She was 75 years old. She was a Church Member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and formerly a Member of Union Grove Baptist Church as well as Vashti Order of the Eastern Star. Jeanette was a member of American Legion Post 18, and was on the board of Directors for Four Seasons Federal Credit Union. She was also involved with the Tuskegee Lee Baptist Disaster relief team. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Earl Parker; parents, Evelyn and James Maness; twin sister, Annette Taunton. Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Stacy Parker Furmanek; son, Jason Parker (Calli); grandchildren, Brooke Corbett (Ben), Layne Parker, Jade Parker, Jacob Furmanek, Malayna Morrison; great grandchildren, Olivia Corbett, Ellie Corbett, Ayden Scott; sister, Juanita Owsley (Art); sister at heart, Martha Lassiter, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Union Grove Baptist Church Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverends Jimmy Allen, and Russell DeLee officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Chris Parker, Shane Parker, David Parker, James Taunton, Allen Furmanek, Brian Weatherley, Jade Parker.
