Jeanette Word, of Auburn, Alabama was born to the late George and Eula Holt on November 25, 1938, and passed away at her home on May 19, 2016. She was 77 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Early Word, and brother, George P. Holt. She is survived by her children, Richard (Jenny) Word, Wayne (Cathy) Word, Donald (Cindy) Word, and Robert (Deborah) Word; nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen (Carlton) Long, Myrtle Adams, and Sarah Adams, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Richard LaGrand officiating.
