Jeanne Marie Johnson, born July 15, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to Virgil and Betty Stuck. Went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. She spent her life caring for others. She retired from Internal Medicine Associates after 35 years service as a nurse for Dr. Park McGehee. She is survived by her husband Larry Wayne Johnson; sons Victor (Christie) Hale, Cory Highfill, and Shane Highfill; special "daughter" Dorothy Stringfellow; grandchildren Bear (Jessica) Hale, Haley Highfill, Kayla (Chris) James, Cody Hale, Drew Highfill, Jordan Highfill, Jacob Highfill, Quinton Hale, Morgan Hale, Zayden Morgan and Kody Blankenship, Alyssa Jae Bass, and nine great grandchildren; sisters Betty Lee (Lou) Paradise, Patti Demars, Marti Sullivan, and brother William (Rita) Stuck. A Memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with Reverend Mark McCarty officiating.
