Jo Renee Mackey

1949-2022

Jo Renee Mackey sadly passed away on December 19, 2022 at her home in Opelika, Alabama.

Renee is survived by her husband, Erman Randall Mackey, her four sons, Jeff (Susan) McDonald, Jody (Stephanie) McDonald, Josh (Candy) Mackey, and Jared Mackey, her mother, Arletha Benton Phillips, her seven grandchildren, Alex (Stephanie), Nicholas, and Calista McDonald, Ali and Ansli McDonald, and Jonathan and Tori "Minnie" Mackey. She is also survived by her two sisters, Rhonda Nelson (Billy Wayne) and Tamara Newsome (Lamar) and several loving nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Willard Taylor "Tater" Burnette and her stepfather, Roger Dale Phillips.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
