Funeral services for John Richard (Jack) Dresher, 81, of Auburn, AL will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Auburn. Visitation will be at 1:30, followed by a memorial service at 2:30. A private burial will follow at Auburn Memorial Park. Mr. Dresher was born on May 11, 1932 and passed away on December 7, 2013. He is survived by 2 sons: Dave (Debbie) and Don (Beth) Dresher, one daughter, Lou Ann (Gerry) Hicks; grandchildren: Margaret Dresher, Meredith (Josh) Eichenberger, Josh (Laura) Williams, Layton Williams, Rachel Dresher, Jessica (Owens) Hall, Austen, Ben & Michael Wiley; and 1 great-grandchild, Hunter. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lynn Fillmer Dresher. His life-long love of music remained with him until his death, as he continued to play his upright bass and attend annually the reunion of his beloved Auburn Knights Band.
