Jorene Styres Cason 1933-2021 Jorene S. Cason of Cusseta, was born in Lanett, Alabama to the late George and Ester Styres on March 31, 1933 and went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 14, 2021. She was 87 years old. Mrs. Cason was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, and caring person, an avid Alabama football fan, and enjoyed going to various churches throughout her life. On any given day, you could find Mrs. Cason singing along to Gospel music, completing a word search, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She always had a way of making people laugh with her witty jokes. Mrs. Cason lived each day faithful and true to the Lord and is now reunited with her loving husband after 36 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon B. Cason; daughter, Vicki Laster; brothers, Ernest Styres, and Norman Styres; sisters, Betty Styres Adkins, and Lorene Session;son-in-law, Bobby White; great granddaughter, Brittany Edwards. She is survived by her Children, Diane White, Glenda (Earl) Hilyer, Margaret (Mike) Williams, Charles Evans, David Cason, and Ella "Lucy" Russell; Grandchildren, Barry (Kristy), Tim (Donna), Matt (Amanda), Windy (Mark), Tammy (Johnnathan), Michelle (Tony), Rebecca, Chris (Ashley), Jake (Raely), Mark (Kiarra), David (Mary), Tracy, Kim (Mike), Stephanie (Eric), Christian; and many great grandchildren, as well as special friends, June and Rex Whatley, and Vickey Hawkins, and special nieces, Darlene and Martha, who enjoyed taking their Aunt Jorene out on the town. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 17, 2021 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Harvey Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery.
