Joseph Sanders, 45, was born June 21, 1969 and passed away on September 4, 2014 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Sanders was of the Baptist faith, and was a long time employee of T.J.s Appliances in Opelika, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother, T.J. Sanders. He is survived by his father, Billy Sanders; sons, Brian Sanders, Joseph Sanders, and Michael Sanders; grandchildren, Justin Sanders, Ava Sanders, Adam Sanders, and Emily Sanders; brothers, Billy Sanders, Jr. (Rhonda), Jessie Sanders (Melinda), Jimmy Sanders (Cindy), Curtis Sanders (Cheryl), Chris Sanders (Veda), and David Sanders; a special friend, Cindy; and all of his customers and friends at Prestige Properties. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home with Reverends Harold and Max Cummings officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00- 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 7, 2014 in the parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home.
