Joyce J. Wright, 79, was born on November 26, 1935 in Georgia and passed away on June 28, 2015 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mrs. Wright retired in 2003 from Baptist Hospital in Montgomery after 25 years of service. She moved to Auburn in 2002 to be closer to her family. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She was a member of Parkway Baptist in Auburn where she was very active in the Hope Sunday School Class. She lived at Monarch Estates and loved her friends and enjoyed the activities there, especially Bingo and Bean-Bag Baseball. She served as a volunteer at Camellia Place in Auburn for several years. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Foppiano. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Stanley (Ron) and Linda Harris (Calvin); sons, Tony Foppiano, Lewis DeCarlo (Susan), and Michael Watkins (Jenna); grandchildren, Jason DeCarlo (Diana), Melissa Herrington (Todd), Anthony Foppiano, Jeremy Pyburn, Ryan Palmer (Mark), Lauren Armstrong (Brian), Gabriel DeCarlo, Aaron Watkins, Joseph Watkins, Mykaela Watkins; and 11 great grandchildren.
