June Brown of Opelika, AL passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, on January 26, 2023. She was born on February 21, 1951. She was 71 years old.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alabama and William Lucas; husband, Jasper Brown; and her brother John Lucas.

She is survived by her sisters, Delorise (Marion) Potts and Debra Weldon; sister-in-law Jessie Mae Lucas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

A visitation will be held at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Parlor on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. A Service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Henry and Tommy Dawson officiating.
