Lois Goodson Hardy, age 85 of Opelika, was born in Troy, Alabama on October 25, 1926 and died on November 27, 2011 at Bethany House of Auburn. She was retired from JC Penney. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Hardy; daughter, Judith Marie Cofield; two brothers; and one sister. Survivors include her loving son, Roger Dale Hardy; two grandsons, Tommy Hardy and Rusty (Kristy) Hardy; three granddaughters, Christy (Jason) Abernathy, Angie (Lee) Craft, and Danielle (Luther) Foreman; seven great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
