Louise F. Powell, of Opelika, was born on May 5, 1920 in Thomaston, Georgia and passed away on June 22, 2011 at Arbor Springs in Opelika. She was 91 years old. She was a member of Pepperell Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and White Shrine. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Raymon Powell; children, Winston C. Powell, Ann Hale and husband Jimmy, Jim Powell and wife Mona; seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
