Lowell Harmon was born on September 22, 1950, and passed away on March 18, 2026. He was Preceded in death by his mother Thelma Mae Whaley, Father Grover Harmon, Daughter Dona Gaylene Harmon, Son Jackie Harmon, Granddaughter Savannah VanHouton, Brothers Gene, Harvey, and Jimmy, Sisters Maudine Dewberry and MaryAnn Proctor.
He is survived by his Wife Betty Jo, Daughters Robin Harmon, Diana (James) Preston, Jeanette Harmon Tompkins, Jennifer (Cory) Smith, Tracey (Brian) Phillips, Jenny Beck, Sons Jeff Beck, Kelly Luke. Grandchildren Rebecca, Austin, Nicole, Chris, Kameron, Carl, Kaylie Kaden, Ean, Eli, Samuel, Shyanne, Katherine, Cierra, James, Travis, Casey, Kristina, Courtney, and Karter and 8 great grandchildren. Brothers Donald and Roy (R.S.) Harmon and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Harmon played softball until he was 50 years old. He loved Alabama Football ROLL TIDE! All sports, fishing, and cornhole. He remained active in his children and grandchildren's lives until his brief illness that began in November 2025.
Visitation will be at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home in the Parlor on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
