Margaret Kren Jackson, elegant lady, loving mother and grandmother and a resident of Foley, went to join her Lord on Monday June 17, 2013. Mrs. Jackson was born in West Blockton, Al , attended Auburn University, and retired from Jordan Marsh in Ft Lauderdale, FL where she was a long time resident. She was formerly of Birmingham and Auburn, AL.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia Kren and her husband Robert L. Jackson.
Survivors include her son, John Earl Jackson of Knob Noster, MO and his son, James Jackson (Chris) of Kansas City, MO; son Robert L. Jackson Jr. of Roswell, GA and his son, Matthew Jackson of Atlanta, GA; daughter Frances Drake (Kenneth) of Orange Beach, AL and her son, Adam Anderson (Pavla) of Orange Beach; and her sister, Juliet Osborne of Arlington, TX.
She loved spending time with and enjoying her family. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and have fun. She loved her church and attending Mass. She loved music, dancing, reading, shopping, dogs and all animals, being with people, musical shows on television and was a sports enthusiast. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend, dedicated professional, devout Catholic, elegant lady and will be greatly missed.
The family requests that donations be made to the Mission Fund at Saint Michael's Catholic Church in lieu of flowers.
