Martha Jean Kirk

06/09/1953 – 11/04/2024

Martha Jean Kirk of Opelika, AL was born June 9th, 1953 and passed away peacefully at her home on November 4th, 2024; she was 71 years old.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents Kathryn Stringfellow and Andrew Hickman, following her brother Earl Hickman.

Martha is survived by her husband Charles Kirk; two sons, Philip (Emily) Myers and Wayne (Kate) Myers, as well as her bonus children Cassandra Pafford, Charles (Sherri) Kirk – also known by Chet, and Clint Kirk; Her two sisters Wyolene Stringfellow and Linda (Preston) Griggs, and several nieces and nephews; Grandchildren Wil Myers, Victoria (Adam) Goodin, a number of bonus grandchildren she loved dearly and Great Grandchildren Caroline, Kash, Jade, and Maggie.

A special thanks to Mrs. Deborah Frazier for taking such good care of her; Martha called Mrs. Deborah her rock – they were stuck like glue.

A celebration of life will be held on November 16th, 2024 at 1:00pm at the home of Philip Myers,
