Martha A. Knutson, was born to the late Tommy and Martha Blanton Templeton on December 3, 1955 and passed away peacefully at her home in Opelika, Alabama on September 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was 65 years old. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Marie Dubois and her brother Billy Templeton. She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, David Knutson Sr. of Opelika, Alabama; children, Barbie Thomas, Linda (Robert) Steele, David (Becky) Knutson Jr., Lavelle Thomas, 17 grandchildren, and 1 on the way great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary (Don) Stroud, Tommie Gail (Cora) Templeton, Amanda (Phil) Clark; her brother, Randy (Angela) Templeton; her sisters-in-law, Debbie Templeton, Susan (Paul) Blanton, Joy (Jim) Henry; and her brothers-in-law Frank (Sharon) Knutson and Bob (Brenda) Knutson. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery in Opelika. Brother Russell DeLee will be officiating.
