Mary Louise Tidwell McGuire Chambers was born October 1, 1926 to the late Riley and Ida Mae Tidwell in the Armstrong Community in Macon County, Alabama. She passed away on November 17, 2013 at Oak Park in Auburn, Alabama; she was 87. Louise Chambers was a founding member of Victory Baptist Church.
Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Franklin McGuire; sister Ida Frances Tidwell Chambers; brother Riley Tidwell, Jr..
She is survived by her second husband, Vernon B. Chambers, Jr.; sons, Thomas McGuire and Riley McGuire (Sheila); daughter Judy Wilkes (Jerry); step-children, Sonny Chambers (Deborah), Ronny Chambers, Bernice Louise Chambers Cullars (Bobby), Frances Jeanette Chambers Trantham (Michael); sister Betty Tidwell Kenney (Ray); step-brother in-law Bobby Eugene Chambers; grandchildren, Crystal Lee (Trey), Michael McGuire (Mary), Riley McGuire, Jr. (Lori), John McGuire, Jr., John Brown, Jr., Jan Bautista (David), Julia Hawthorne, Brenda Hamlet (Jeremy), Beau Cullars (Stephanie), Rodney Chambers (Tereasa), Coty Chambers, Shea Wilkes (Tina), and Scot Wilkes (Mari); and 28 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Chambers also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Victory Baptist Church with Reverend William Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Frank McGuire Memorial Cemetery in Loachapoka, Alabama.
Visitation will be in the parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
