Mary M. Clark, age 70 of Opelika, was born on January 26, 1943 and passed away on August 24, 2013 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mrs. Clark was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was employed by Uniroyal for 20 years. She loved going to baseball games, fishing, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wayne Clark, her mother, Willie Mae McDonald, daughter Donna Ford (Kenny), sons: Jerry Clark (Cindy), and Steven Clark (Tammy); her grandchildren: Lisa Parmer, Shane Ford (Ambershae), Ellen Bennett (Jay), Jason Clark, Trent Clark, and Michael Ray, two great grandchildren: Ethan and Avery Parmer, brothers: Jimmy McDonald (Joyce) and Tamp McDonald, and several nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Moses H. McDonald, and her brother, Lewis McDonald. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home, with Brother Frank Chappell officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery in Opelika, Alabama.
