Mary Helen Moore Fitzgerald was born on February 14, 1926 in Notasulga, Alabama and passed away on October 9, 2013 at her home, she was 87 years old. Mrs. Fitzgerald was the daughter to the late Percy Lamar Moore and Annie Maude Henderson. She was preceded in death by her sisters Loraine Davis and Sarah Seats, and brother James Moore. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Gerald E. Fitzgerald, Sr.; two sons, Gerald "Jerry" E. Fitzgerald, Jr. and his wife Sue, and Gregory M. Fitzgerald. Two grandsons Gerald "Scooter" E. Fitzgerald III, his wife Alice, and Michael "Brian" Fitzgerald, his wife Sloane. Great-grandson Taylor Fitzgerald and brother Frank Moore, his wife Ann. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 10-11:00 am in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home, with Reverend Scott Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery.
