Mary Joyce Simpson, age 62 of Beauregard, was born in Randolph County on October 6, 1952 and passed away at her home surrounded by family on November 24, 2014. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Lafayette. She was born to the late Robert and Wylene Hall. Mrs. Simpson grew a garden on her porch, enjoyed watching NASCAR especially Denny Hamlin, and was an avid Auburn University football fan. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Sherrie Simpson; and son, Billy Joe Simpson. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronnie Simpson; children, Pete Simpson (Lorrie), Timothy Simpson (Tiffiney), Steve Simpson (Kim), Stephanie Hamrick (Don), Mark Simpson (Lisa Owsley), and Damon White; 18 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as many other family members.
