Mary Sue McDougald Watson 1948-2021 Mary Sue McDougald Watson of Opelika was born to the late E.C. and Lillian Holmes McDougald on January 26, 1948 and passed away on October 10, 2021. She was 73 years old. She was an educator for over 40 years and a Member of Society Hill Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Art Watson (Somer) and Mac Watson (Kate); grandchildren, Trey Watson, Cooper Watson, Eli Watson, Colton Watson, and Nathan Watson; brother, John Larry "Bo" McDougald (Angie); the father of their children, Terry Watson, as well as nieces, nephews, and other family members. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Fox and Pastor Steve MacInnis officiating.
