Mary Jones Wood of Opelika, Alabama was born to the late Howard and Thelma Jones on November 3, 1935 and passed away at Arbor Springs March 13, 2017. She was 81 years old. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert D. Jones, Malford G. Jones, and Bobby Jones. She is survived by her husband, Lewis O. Wood; daughter, Julie Goodson (Michael); son, Kenneth Guy (Kristi); grandchildren, Michael R. Goodson, Jr., Zachary John Guy, Jessica Henderson, Virginia Ann Guy; great grandchildren, Carly Cheyenne Luck, Michael R. Goodson, III "Trey", as well as numerous nieces, Nephews, and other family members. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Carlton Messer officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m.
