Max Andrew Norrell of Opelika, Alabama, formerly of Columbia, South Carolina was born in Columbia, South Carolina on February 25, 1994, and passed away in Opelika, Alabama on May 20, 2016. He was 22 years old. Max was a good-hearted man who was loved by many. He loved music and animals and was known for his sense of humor. He was a voracious reader and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother Sally Norrell of Columbia, South Carolina, and father David Norrell of Opelika, Alabama; maternal grandparents, Costa Pleicones (Donna) of Columbia, South Carolina; paternal grandparents, Nan Cooper (Curtis) of Black Mountain, North Carolina, and Richard, and Barbara Norrell of Opelika, Alabama; great-grandmother, LaMerle Anderson of Opelika, Alabama; aunts, Laura Pleicones of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Laura Edwards of Mars Hill, North Carolina; uncle, Andy Norrell (Jessica) of North Augusta, South Carolina, as well as numerous other family members.
