Michael H. Edwards, of Opelika, was born at Lee County Hospital on September 3, 1961 and died September 19, 2012 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. He was 51 years old. Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Edwards and Elizabeth Paschal; and grandfather, Joe Paschal. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Edwards; children, Michael Dwayne, Ann, Carrie, and Gerald Edwards; brother, Robert Paschal and wife Lisa, and David Edwards; sister, Lisa Edwards; step-mother, Emily Edwards; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Allan and Marie Fountain; and three grandchildren.
