SGT Michael W. Parks 1956-2022 Michael W. Parks of the Beauregard Community was born in Columbus, Georgia on July 26, 1956 and passed away on February 8, 2022. He was 65 years old. Mr. Parks was a very proud 38 year retired Veteran. He was a family man who loved his family and loved spending time with his children and grandbabies. Mr. Parks loved the great outdoors, camping with friends, tailgating, and his western movies. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Tracey L. Parks; parents, Dorothy S. Moreland and Clarke J. Moreland; granddaughter, Keiana Langford. He is survived by his Children, Chris Parks, Danny (Nakeshia Parks), Crystal Langford; grandchildren, Addison, Layla Smith (Jerry), Shawnah, Landon, and Kourtney Parks, and Mya Parks; sister, Cindy Parks (Mike Bitzer) and niece, Christy Bitzer. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
