Nevaeh Faith McGilton passed prematurely at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama on May 26, 2014. After struggling with hydrops as long as she had, she passed gently into the arms of Jesus.
Nevaeh is the precious daughter of Amber Maddox and Brett McGilton; she was their hope and purpose. Hearts were broken, lives were saddened, and tears were shed by her departure. A displeasure like no other to have experienced, she and her innocence will always be cherished, consistently thought of, and missed terribly. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; an empty space where life once stirred, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The deepest pain among many felt, her leave was greatly taken. She was too perfect for this world.
Nevaeh is survived by her mother and father, Amber Maddox and Brett McGilton; sister, Tatum Maddox; grandmother, Lois Dykes; grandmother, Melanie Davenport; and grandfather, Phillip Davenport.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 30, 2014 at 6:00 pm in the chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home.
