Nina "Faye" Stringfellow, 80, was born on October 25, 1933, to the late Edgar and Beatrice Belcher; she went to her Heavenly Home on March 8, 2014 at East Alabama Medical Center.
Mrs. Stringfellow was a member of Providence Baptist Church and the Golden Notes Choir. She was a devout Christian and always put others first. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was known to many as "Aunt Faye".
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James Stringfellow; brother Charles Belcher; and sister Jean Butler.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Stringfellow (Lydia); daughters, Glenda Hill (Dan) and Barbara Hise (Jim); grandchildren, Staci Belyeu, Jamie Stringfellow, Amy Aston, Susan Thompson, Scott Hise, Brittany Freeman, and Tara Hise; sister, Betty Ferguson; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 pm CST in the parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at Providence Baptist Church, with Reverend Dr. Rusty Sowell officiating. Interment will be held at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
