Patricia (Pat) Ann Bugg

1949 - 2022

Patricia (Pat) Ann Bugg, long time resident of Simpsonville, SC died on December 29th, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville, SC. She was born on January 12th, 1949 in Hogansville, GA to Carey and Annie Lou Corley. She was 73 years old.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Bugg, Jr; her three children: Christen Watson of Wake Forest, NC; Melissa Nereim of Huntersville, NC and Brian Bugg of Greenville, SC; her siblings Billy Corley (Aranelle), Rhonda Hatton Coleman (Wayne), Ricky Corley (Beverly) and sister in law Pattie Corley; four grandchildren Madison Nereim, Maria Nereim, Molly Nereim and Parker Watson as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and lifetime friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Carey Corley, Jr and Annie Lou Corley; her brother Randy Corley and her nephew Christopher Hatton.

Pat had a longtime love for gardening as well as collecting depression glass. She enjoyed spending time at Myrtle Beach as well in the Adirondack Mountains. She was a believer of Christ and a member of Brookwood Church in Simpsonville, SC.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:30 pm at the Tallapoosa County Memorial Gardens with Thad Endicott officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:15 – 12:45 pm at the Frederick Dean Funeral Home Parlor.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Brookwood Church in Simpsonville, SC.
