Percilla Alice Jones May, 81, was born on July 9, 1933 in Fairfax, AL and passed away on April 4, 2015 at Parkwood Nursing Home in Phenix City, AL. She was a member of Living Word Assembly of God Church and she was a former employee of West Point Pepperell and Chalkline Sewing Room. Mrs. May was preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Evelyn T. Jones; husband, Robert D. May; brothers, Alvin N. Jones, James Wesley Jones, Jr., and Charles D. Jones; and her sister, Peggy A. Adams. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Hadaway (Rolyn), Darelene Hall, and Charlotte Prosser (Al); 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home with Phillip Doss, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until 1:45 pm in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home.
