Ray OGuynn, of Opelika, Alabama was born in Elmore County on October 1, 1943 and passed away at his home on February 16, 2016. He was 72 years old. He is preceded by his wife of 45 years Shelia OGuynn and grandson Will Kirby. He is survived by his children, Billy OGuynn (Regina), Jamie OGuynn, Angel Haga (Danny), LeeAnn OGuynn; grandchildren, Jamie OGuynn, Jr., Billy OGuynn, Jr., John OGuynn (Jana), Andy Haga, Ben OGuynn, Abby Haga; two great grandchildren, Evan OGuynn and Nyla OGuynn. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Short officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. Frederick-Dean Funeral Home is directing. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
