Rebecca Rowell Reid 1927-2021 Rebecca Rowell Reid of Auburn, Alabama, was born on August 28, 1927, to the late William and Louise Rowell, and passed away on January 17, 2021, at Arbor Springs in Opelika, AL. She was 93 years old. Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Joe Reid; her son, Ronnie Reid; and her sister, Margaret Pugh. Mrs. Reid is survived by her twin daughters, Carolyn Wright (John) and Marilyn Horsley (Bill) of Auburn; seven grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. A private family graveside service at 10:00 a.m. will be held at Auburn Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 20, 2021with her grandson Mike Griffin officiating.
