Richard Trussell Carroll 1958 -2020 Richard Trussell Carroll of Opelika was born on October 1, 1958 and unexpectedly passed away at his home on September 20, 2020. He was 61 years old. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports, he also was a avid fisherman. He loved Jeff Gordon, and was a hard working family man. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alta Nita Carroll. He is survived by his children, Brandee Berry (Terry), Jennifer Blackburn (Justin); grandchildren, Kaitlin McCormick, Audrey McCormick, Zachery Carroll, Levi Berry, Braedon McCormick, Eli Berry, Journee McCormick, and Nova Milner; father, Hershel Carroll (Ruby); brother, Thomas Carroll (Alice); sister, Fay Garner (Ronnie);brother, Kenny Carroll; former wife and mother of his children, Debbie Wilson (Dennis). Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00.
