Robert "Bob" Steven Kerr

1961 - 2023

Robert Kerr was born on March 29, 1961 in Mount Holly, NJ, and died February 21, 2023 in Columbus, GA. He was 61 years old.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Janet Kerr; brother, Scott Kerr; and special companion Chulo.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Kerr; son, Steven Kerr; sister, Linda Kelly; mother-in-law, Linda Givorns Kelley; a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members; a multitude of adopted kids; and a special puppy named Latte.

He was an Eagle Scout who loved playing his trumpet, and he was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. Though he spent many years pulling for the wrong football team, he eventually found the light and said "War Eagle" until his final days.

A visitation will take place Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Parlor from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. CST. A service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 1 p.m. CST. A burial will follow at Fairfax Cemetery in Valley, AL.
