Robert Harold "Bobby" Jones

Robert Harold "Bobby" Jones died peacefully at Arbor Lakes on August 13, 2023. He was 93 years old.

He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War from 1950 to 1954, worked for the United States Post Office for 30+ years, and was the cheerful face at the counter of the Auburn Post Office. He was also a member of Lakeview Baptist Church since 1957.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Merle Jones.

He is survived by his son, Harold Jones (Bettye), niece, Elaine "Tootsie" Jones (Frank) and numerous other loved nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:00 am in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home, followed by a service at 11:00 am in the Chapel with Pastor Cliff Knight officiating.

Frederick-Dean Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
